Never, ever cry…
Seventeen-year-old Eureka won’t let anyone close enough to feel her pain. After her mother was killed in a freak accident, the things she used to love hold no meaning. She wants to escape, but one thing holds her back: Ander, the boy who is everywhere she goes, whose turquoise eyes are like the ocean.
And then Eureka uncovers an ancient tale of romance and heartbreak, about a girl who cried an entire continent into the sea. Suddenly her mother’s death and Ander’s appearance seem connected, and her life takes on dark undercurrents that don’t make sense.
Can everything you love be washed away?

The view of a book addict:
I found the story of this book very interesting, it wasn’t something I’ve read before so that made this book great for me. I fell in love with the world Lauren created and the characters she described.
Just like the main character Eureka I wanted to know every little secret and I really wanted to know who Ander was. This book is also a lot bloodier than the Fallen series if you ask me. It was one of the things I like about this book, I’m a horror fan so I’m not scared of a little blood.
The story itself was very interesting because it’s not a story you read every day. It builds up slowly but this gives you the time to get to know the characters and the world they live in. And the ending was not what I expected!
The verdict of a book addict:
What a wonderful new story written by Lauren Kate, I can’t wait to read the next book!
