Title:                   Unravel Me
Author:              Tahereh Mafi
Pages:                 461
category:           Young Adult, Dystopian

The story:

tick
tick
tick
tick
tick
it’s almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life.

The view of a book addict:

I loved the first book in this series and I could only hope that the second one would be just as good. I’m glad I wasn’t dissapointed, the story had some unforseen twists and turns.

This story continues where they left of in the first book, so I didn’t have any trouble getting into the story. You get to know the rest of the people in the compound and learn some interesting new things about the characters you already know from the first book.

After reading this book I don’t know what’s going to happen, it left me wondering who we will meet again and who won’t be a part of the story anymore.

I have to admit that there were a couple of moments where I just didn’t understand Juliette, sometimes I felt like she made her life to hard for herself and that she should just deal with who she is and what she’s capable of.

Warner really surprised me in this book, I don’t know what to think of him anymore. I really didn’t like him in the first book, came to know him better in Destroy me and now I just don’t know what to think anymore.

The verdict of a book addict:

If you loved the first book, what are you waiting for because this is a must read. Otherwise start reading the series because it’s really worth it!
