Published 11/05/2013 by supernaturalreadingaddict

Title:                   Pandemonium
Author:              Lauren Oliver
Pages:                 375
category:           Dystopian, young adult

The story:

I’m pushing aside
the memory of my nightmare,
pushing aside thoughts of Alex,
pushing aside thoughts of Hana
and my old school,
push,
push,
push,
like Raven taught me to do.
The old life is dead.
But the old Lena is dead too.
I buried her.
I left her beyond a fence,
behind a wall of smoke and flame.

Lauren Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed New York Times bestseller, Delirium. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.

The view of a book addict:

After reading the first book I couldn’t wait to read the second one. And I’m glad that I didn’t have to wait so long to start reading it. This book is partly in the past and partly in the present.

I loved to read about what happened to Lena after she ran away, but I also loved the story in the present. Meeting the new characters was really great, they kept the story going and I would like to know more about them.

In this story you learn more about the resistant and what’s happening in the “clean”cities. I’m glad I’m not living in this world.

The ending was a big cliffhanger just like the first book and I’m dying to know how this story is going to end.

The verdict of a book addict:

A great second book in this trilogy! Can’t wait to read the next one!
