Good reads summary:
The story of a young heiress’s initiation into the dark society of the Chicagoland Vampires continues…
Ten months after vampires revealed their existence to the mortals of Chicago, they’re enjoying a celebrity status usually reserved for the Hollywood elite. But if people learn about the Raves-mass feeding parties where vampires round up humans like cattle—the citizens will start sharpening their stakes.
So now it’s up to the new vampire Merit to reconnect with her upper class family and act as liaison between humans and bloodsuckers, and keep the more unsavory aspects of the vampire lifestyle out of the media. But someone doesn’t want peace between them—someone with an ancient grudge…
I thought the first book in this series was amazing and I really wanted to read the second book.
To be honest I had a little trouble getting into the story, I missed the exciting beginning the first book had.
But getting into the story I just fell in love again with the characters. The story just picks up were it left in the first book.
Merit is still trying to figure out what she feels for Ethan sullivan and Morgan and of course still trying to figure out her new vampire life.
I just realy loved the story and I can’t wait for the next book!!

Succubus (n.) An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men. Pathetic (adj.) A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid.
When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?
But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid’s life is far less exotic. Her boss is a middle-management demon with a thing for John Cusack movies. Her immortal best friends haven’t stopped teasing her about the time she shape-shifted into the Demon Goddess getup complete with whip and wings. And she can’t have a decent date without sucking away part of the guy’s life. At least there’s her day job at a local bookstore–free books; all the white chocolate mochas she can drink; and easy access to bestselling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, aka He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can’t.
But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle’s demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead one-liners won’t help because Georgina’s about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny…
I loved this book, I picked up this book after reading the summary on amazon. I really liked the story and decided to buy a copy of the book.
It’s been on my shelve for a month or two but I decided to pick it up and I haven’t regret it ever since. I love Georgina!! She is amazing!
I was a bit affraid that the story would be all about sex because Georgina is a succubus but it didn’t! And until the end I never figured out who was behind the murders.
I hope the second book will be just as good as this one I can’t wait to read it!

So I’m a really big fan of series, I read a lot of them but the thing I hate the most about them is the fact that I have to wait for the next book to come out.
A lot of books I didn’t write a review of and that really sucks because I can’t look back and say hey I really liked this part but I hated that part etc. So maybe I will re-read those books and write a review after, or maybe I’ll just keep it this way.
But at this moment there are a lot of books I’m waiting for, here is my list of must reads:
– Last Sacrifce ( Vampire academy ) By Richelle mead (comes out December 7th )
– Forever by Maggie Stiefvater ( comes out July 2011 )
– Darkest Mercy ( wickeld lovely series ) by Melissa Marr ( comes out march 2011 )
Of course there are a lot of other books I really want to read but these three are the books I’m really waiting for at the moment. But I know these books will be worth waiting for, so for now I’ll read the books I already have and enjoy them!
Grace and Sam must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping dangerous secrets. For Sam, it means grappling with his werewolf past …and figuring out a way to survive the future. But just when they manage to find happiness, Grace finds herself changing in ways she could never have expected…
When I first started this book I didn’t think it would ever be better than shiver. But I was wrong! This book just gets me from the first page to the last. It makes me smile and it makes me cry. A very good second book in a series.
The new characters in the book are amazing and I really want to know how their lives go on after this book. It’s really fun to read the book and find you’re actually reading the story from four diffrent points of view. I really loved how the relationships between the diffrent characters grew and became more complicated. And the ending just killed me, why did it have to be so sad? I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

I am a beast.
A beast. Not quite wolf or bear, gorilla or dog but a horrible new creature who walks upright—a creature with fangs and claws and hair springing from every pore. I am a monster.
You think I’m talking fairy tales? No way. The place is New York City. The time is now. It’s no deformity, no disease. And I’ll stay this way forever—ruined—unless I can break the spell.
Yes, the spell, the one the witch in my English class cast on me. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night? I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. And then, I’ll tell you how I became perfectly . . . beastly.
Review: Spoiler alert
As a fan of the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast I was curious about this book. And it didn’t dissapoint me that’s for sure.
At first I really hated the main character, he was arrogant and really acted like a spoiled brat. But as the book went on I started to like him, the little changes he went through after he was turned into a beast.
At the ending I could only hope he would find a girl to break the curse for him. And when he did find her but let her go I could just cry. Luckily this story has a happy ending. After reading the book I can’t wait to see the movie that’s comming out next year.

As readers of series starter City of Bones already know, teenager Clary Fray is a Shadowhunter, a demon slayer who has the gift (?) of spotting Downworlder werewolves, vampires, and faeries. She is also an adolescent in an abnormally dysfunctional family: Her mom is in a magically induced coma and her father is probably insane and undoubtedly evil. All of which places Clary in situations that would challenge even the most talented average American girl
I loved this book! You get sucked into the story right away and putting the book down isn’t an option because you really want to know how the story ends.
I loved how the story between Jace and Clary went on, my heart really goes out to them, I can’t imagine how it must feel to be in their situation. But the story takes you through their lives and makes you feel wat they feel.
And than I read a name I knew from the Infernal devices series. It made me even more curios for the second book in that series. But this book is amazing and I can’t wait to read the third book!

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder – much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It’s hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing – not even a smear of blood – to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary’s first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It’s also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace’s world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know….
Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare’s ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.
I loved this book!!! It wasn’t even hard to get into the story. I just started reading and couldn’t put it away, so now I’m starting the second book in the series. The characters are all wonderful and you are curious to what happens to them next.
The book ends beautiful and you really want to know what’s going to happen next. I really like the world this story is set in, it’s something diffrent from all the things I’ve read before.

For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf—her wolf—is a chilling presence she can’t seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human … until the cold makes him shift back again.
Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. It’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears, Sam must fight to stay human—or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.
Wow what an amazing story! that’s the first thing that comes to my mind after finishing this book for the second time. I’d never thought that reading a book for the second time made me love it even more than the first time. It didn’t even feel like reading it again, it felt like reading it for the first time. The characters are so amazing, you really feel like you know them at the end of the book. The story is amazing and it’s such a beautiful love story. I even cried this time, I didn’t cry the first time I read it but this time I did.

Cheerleader Isobel Lanley is horrified when she is paired with Varen Nethers for an English project, which is due—so unfair—on the day of the rival game. Cold and aloof, sardonic and sharp-tongued, Varen makes it clear he’d rather not have anything to do with her either. But when Isobel discovers strange writing in his journal, she can’t help but give this enigmatic boy with the piercing eyes another look.
Soon, Isobel finds herself making excuses to be with Varen. Steadily pulled away from her friends and her possessive boyfriend, Isobel ventures deeper and deeper into the dream world Varen has created through the pages of his notebook, a realm where the terrifying stories of Edgar Allan Poe come to life.
As her world begins to unravel around her, Isobel discovers that dreams, like words, hold more power than she ever imagined, and that the most frightening realities are those of the mind. Now she must find a way to reach Varen before he is consumed by the shadows of his own nightmares.
His life depends on it.
OMG that’s what’s going through my mind right now. I picked up this book because I really like Poe and reading what this book was about on the internte made me really curious.
I just couldn’t put this book down, I wanted to know how the story would go even knowing there would be more books to come and the ending of this book wouldn’t be THE ending.
I loved the fact that the characters weren’t in love from page one. I just loved reading about them, and seeing the signs that they liked each other. I can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can read more about Varen and Isobel!

Feisty teen Nora Grey somehow survived the crises of Hush, Hush!, but dangers just as frightening loom in this standalone sequel. Patch, her guardian angel and love interest, appears to have a dark side and a wandering eye. Worse yet, he seems intent on obstructing Nora as she hunts for the truth behind her father’s mysterious death. Even better than the first.
Review: Beware it contains Spoilers for the story
NO!!!! That’s what I thought when I was done reading the last page of this book.
I really loved the story although I kept wishing Nora and Patch back together. It’s been a while since I finished a book so fast! I just couldn’t put it down, every spare moment I had in my day I spent reading this book. I really wanted to know what would happen with Nora, why Patch was with marcie and who killed Nora’s dad.
I have to say the whole mom having an affair with Marcie’s was a big suprise to me. And the fact that the guy wanting Nora dead was so close to her was really creepy. Scott was a cool character to read about and I really did think he wanted to hurt Nora but in the end he seemed just as lost in the world of angels as Nora is.
I can’t wait for the next book, will Nora and Patch get to be together or not? That’s what I’m asking myself after reading this book. But I’ll just have to wait and see.
